knittingfuckyeah: (free pattern) I just downloaded the free pattern. Look at this fantastic piece of art. The pattern looks extremely difficult, but I’m going to do my best to make it for my sister, who has requested knitted coffee cup cozies the past few years for Christmas. Last year the one I made for her was kind of mediocre and I really want to make something awesome for her this year.

This gnome is large - over a foot tall. You can get a free account at Ravelry but to see the project here is the link. I think that this little guy needs to be knitted and come live at Frida B’s and my new apartment.

All of the knitting projects I’m working on right now (infinity scarf, sweater vest, t-shirt yarn rug) I’ve either irreversibly messed up, don’t have enough of the right yarn, or am bored with. I’m going to put them all away and start on a pair of simple, striped, top-down socks. Something calming and simple.
